Located on the Esquimalt-Victoria border, this property is one-block from public transit on Esquimalt Road and located very close to the West song Walkway.  The Building proposes to have a high-performance rain-screen envelope and high-efficiency appliances to achieve a Total Energy Use Intensity [TEUI] aligned with Step 3 of the BC Step Code.
In addition to reducing Operational Carbon, the selection of construction materials will focus on achieving Low Embodied Carbon. Wood products and other carbon sequestering materials will be incorporated throughout the building systems and detailing.
